However, this year I noticed that I have a BIG stack of photos from December. If I were to put them all on regular 12x12" layouts, there would be so many that December would dominate my 2013 scrapbook. So, I decided it was time to make a mini album. It's kind of like a December Daily...just not made in December...and not worked on daily. :)

I'm using a regular "brag book"-sized photo album (brand unknown), which I received as part of a Christmas gift. I'll eventually decorate the cover to make it look more festive. As for supplies, I'm mostly using pieces from the "December Documented" collection by Simple Stories. The journaling cards and cut-apart sheets are just the right size to fit my mini album.

Above is an example of a single-page "layout" in this album.

And here's a double-page "layout," about my collection of European paper angels.

The album has slots for 52 photos, but I don't have quite that many. The sleeves that don't end up holding photos will hold greeting cards and other memorabilia. Above is a Happy New Year card from one of my Russian friends.

The double-page layout above shows text trimmed from a Christmas bread wrapper (on the top) and a Bev Doolittle Christmas card (on the bottom).
I'm enjoying working on my album bit by bit, with no pressure to finish it by any certain deadline. It's nice to make a page or two while sipping a cup of tea...although lately I've been more into cocoa with Valentine sprinkles. :)
I'm joining in with Elizabeth and Bleubeard's Tuesday "tea party," and I'm eager to see what everyone else in the group is up to today. Happy T Day! :)
