Using the Scraps

I went a little crazy (in a good way) with an abundance of patterned paper in my last layout.  Sometimes it's good to cut loose.  :)  I ended up with a lot of paper scraps, and I wanted to make sure to use those scraps right away.  So this is what I made...

Supplies: cardstock from Bazzill; botanical print paper from Magnolia; notebook paper from Cachet; zigzag & floral papers from Lily Bee; all other paper from Crate; "Cute" sticker from Simple Stories; all other stickers from Bo Bunny.

This is a page about an impressive yellow python that our family met at the Lake Superior Zoo last year.  When you are married to a reptile-lover, and you are also the mom of a reptile-lover, you end up making lots of reptile-themed pages...like this lizard page, and this older snake pageAmphibians and pond creatures make scrapbook page appearances, too.  Now, with this newly-created python page, I have yet another layout that falls in the "scaly or slimy" category, LOL.  :)

That's it; just a quick share for today.  Have a good weekend!
